Henry grew up in Harpswell and picked up the game of golf at age 7 when he began taking lessons from Kevin Joseph, PGA. At age 11, he started playing competitively. He won the MESGA Junior Championship in all three age groups and had a very successful junior career, including his four years at Mt. Ararat High School. Henry then attended Elms College in Chicopee, Massachusetts where he won individually several times, was named team captain, and competed alongside his teammates at the 2014 NCAA DIII Golf Championship. After graduating from Elms, he caddied for two winters at Old Marsh Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and worked as an assistant at several clubs, including: Mere Creek Golf Course, Sugarloaf Golf Club, and The Bath Golf Club. Last August, Henry was named Head Golf Coach for both the men's and women's teams at Bates College. And, most recently he has been working at Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona during Bates' offseason. Henry is also in Level 2 of the PGM (Teaching & Coaching) program and working towards becoming a Class A professional. Having been in the PGA for a couple of years now, he has given many individual and group lessons, coached at Sugarloaf's Nike Junior Golf Camps, and played in numerous Maine Chapter and New England Section NEPGA pro-ams and championships. During his time away from the golf course you can find Henry hiking, skiing, working out, and sharing golf tips and clips on Instagram and Facebook.
